ACME is currently running on a nifty 8-core Atom C2750 machine that I built myself. The C2750 was introduced in late 2013 and got a lot of attention from folks like me. It's very low-power, to the point where it doesn't even need a CPU fan so it's nice and quiet. But the eight 64-bit 2.4 GHz cores still give it a lot of oomph.
